System Requirements
Overview
Before using the meta-flow.ai platform, ensure your system meets the following requirements. These are designed to support secure operation, agent communication, and performance monitoring while maintaining data privacy.
Device Requirements
A desktop or laptop is required to run the meta-flow.ai platform and meta-flow Agent.
The device should support background services, as the meta-flow Agent continuously sends:
- Execution statistics (count, duration, success/failure rates)
- Performance metrics (CPU and memory usage)
- Connectivity status (heartbeat signals)
Note
- Recommended: Minimum 8 GB RAM (16 GB preferred) for smooth automation execution.
Operating System Compatibility
The system must support installation and execution of the meta-flow Agent:
- Windows: Windows 10 or later (recommended for full meta-flow Agent support)
Note
- The system must allow access to OS-level information such as version and device type for compatibility checks.
Browser Requirements
To access the Meta-Flow web interface supported browsers are:
- Google Chrome (recommended)
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari
The browser should allow collection of:
- IP address (for session management and license validation)
- Browser type and version
- Cookies and session data
JavaScript and cookies must be enabled for proper functionality.
Important
Browser must be updated to the latest version
Internet Connectivity
A stable internet connection is mandatory for:
- meta-flow Agent registration and activation
- Continuous meta-flow Agent-to-platform communication (heartbeat)
- Transmission of anonymized execution and performance data
Intermittent connectivity may impact automation tracking and monitoring.
Note
- Minimum Bandwidth: 10 Mbps (25 Mbps recommended)
meta-flow Agent Requirements
The meta-flow Agent must be installed and running on the device
The meta-flow Agent will securely transmit:
- Installation and version information
- Execution metadata (non-business, anonymized)
- Error logs and diagnostics (excluding sensitive business data)
The system must allow:
- Background execution
- Secure outbound communication to the platform
Note
- No business data or personally identifiable information from automated workflows is transmitted.
User Access & Authentication
A valid user account is required
Authentication may involve:
- Standard login credentials
Access may depend on:
- Organization setup (admin-provided credentials)
- License validation linked to IP/device
Cookies & Tracking Support
The browser must support cookies and tracking technologies used for:
- Session management and user preferences
- Usage analytics and service improvement
- Personalized experience
- Marketing and performance measurement
Important
Blocking cookies may impact platform usability.
Network & Security Considerations
Ensure firewall or VPN settings do not block meta-flow Agent communication
Allow secure communication with:
- Authentication services
- Analytics and monitoring systems
- Payment or licensing services.
Third-Party Service Compatibility
The system should support integration with external services such as:
- Payment processors
